This area of Norfolk is a lovely place to live and there is a magical attraction that draws people back year after year. We identified a place in the market for our offering which was to provide high quality low cost accommodation for people like ourselves that found it difficult to take their dogs on holiday. Not that you need dogs to enjoy the area! All our chalets have been renovated to a high standard and hopefully provide the comfort of a home from home. Each year we welcome back both regular and new guests. We try hard to make sure their needs are catered for, so that they enjoy their time with us.
Winterton Valley Estate and Sundowner are delightfully landscaped areas of holiday homes. Winterton Valley Estate has private access to Winterton’s fine sandy beaches, with no main roads to cross whilst Sundowner has access to the Bermuda site facilities and is within walking distance of the beach. The beaches have all year round access for dogs and the area is very dog friendly. It’s a wonderful place for a real get away from it all holiday, very quiet and relaxing, with miles of scenic walks for those who like to be more active.
Winterton village is a short distance away, with a shop, post office, chip shop and 300 year old dog friendly pub. which serves excellent food and drink at the bar, or in the family room and garden. Additionally there is a local Hotel, Hermanus, famous for its excellent Sunday carvery and warm welcome.
Hemsby is approx 15 minutes walk along the dunes or you can walk along the beach to Horsey to see the seals.
Sundowner is about 15 mins walk to Hemsby centre with the beach and attractions. There is also local access to Bermuda Holiday Park facilities including club House and swimming pool.
Should you want the bright lights, shows and many more attractions Great Yarmouth is only short drive (8 miles) away.
